About the role

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner (Sales & Marketing) to join our clients growing regional team. You will act as a primary finance business partner within the Sales Operations Control & Analysis function, providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support commercial leadership in achieving business strategy, revenue, and profit targets across global export markets.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality financial analysis on product, brand, and market performance with actionable insights. Perform advanced financial modelling, profitability analysis, monitoring business issues and impact to the bottom line, as well as analyzing proposed introduction of new products and actionable insights is expected.
  • Support business directors in tracking business goals, profitability, pipelines, and provide timely financial reporting.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis, manage selling & distribution expenses, and review business drivers with leaders.
  • Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts for sales and expenses, and review actual vs. forecast performance.
  • Manage customer contracts, contracted sales targets, and incentive programs in coordination with Legal and Business teams.
  • Ensure operational controls and governance across overseas and Singapore sales entities.
  • Leverage BI tools (e.g., Tableau) for enhanced business visibility, performance monitoring, and risk control.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years commercial business partnering experience in MNCs, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • Strongly preferred: Experience in manufacturing and export business environments.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical, project management, and financial modelling abilities.
  • Added advantage for candidates with experience in:
  • Financial simulation modelling
  • Geographical, product, and cost analysis
  • Supply chain coordination and inventory monitoring
  • Cost control and marketing/selling expenses management
  • Market rates, foreign exchange, and raw material price sensitivity analysis
  • Operational exposure in areas like credit risk, demand-supply planning, and contract management

The package 

This is a junior to mid-level position with a salary package ranging from 10,000RM to 18,000RM, depending on experience.
