Job brief

Our client is revolutionizing the Australian visa application process through an innovative, user-friendly platform. They aim to make the visa application journey more accessible, affordable, and efficient, providing expert-crafted guidance to help individuals navigate the complexities of applying for an Australian visa. The UI/UX Designer will play a critical role in shaping the user experience across various digital platforms, including the website, Customer Portal (CP), and Admin Portal (AP).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points of our target audience.
  • Design the information architecture and user flows to ensure intuitive navigation.
  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to test design concepts.
  • Develop visually appealing interfaces that align with our brand and accessibility standards.
  • Design engaging interactions and micro-interactions to enhance user experience.
  • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient implementation of designs.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of UI style guides and design systems.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong prototyping skills using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision.
  • Experience with responsive design and frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance.
  • Experience in conducting usability testing, A/B testing, and user interviews.
  • Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Minimum 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably for SaaS platforms or tech-driven solutions.
