We are looking for a QA Manager on behalf of a client, a manufacturing company specializing in high-quality packaging solutions. This role involves overseeing quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee overall quality planning across all plants and anticipate potential issues.
  • Execute departmental tasks in line with the QA task map.
  • Ensure the company maintains competent personnel for compliance requirements.
  • Lead risk and opportunity assessments related to management system changes.
  • Act as the main management representative for compliance activities and oversee task execution by other representatives.
  • Lead internal audits, management reviews, and coordinate external audits.
  • Organize and facilitate customer visits, meetings, and audits related to product quality and company compliance.
  • Address quality issues arising from suppliers or products, collaborate with other departments on countermeasures, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Approve and verify corrective action reports (internal & customer).
  • Provide input for supplier performance audits for the Purchasing department.
  • Ensure compliance with new product approval requirements.
  • Maintain document control processes.
  • Authorize production holds if quality concerns impact product integrity or company reputation.

Requirements: 

  • Background in quality control and environmental system requirements.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Quality Control and Environmental-related matters.
  • Strong ability to meet customer quality requirements, reduce complaints and rejects, and minimize waste.
  • Skilled in analyzing and resolving quality-related issues.
  • Experience leading internal and external audits, with knowledge of compliance standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
