We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to join a well-established engineering consulting firm in Phoenix, AZ. About the Role:
In this high-impact leadership role, you'll guide a skilled team of engineers through the planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You'll also take the lead on client engagements, project delivery, and business development efforts. The ideal candidate is both a technical expert and a relationship builder with a proven track record in the municipal and agency sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic marketing and business development for the water/wastewater division.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and project coordination.
  • Oversee engineering and technical staff to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery.
  • Review and contribute to design documents, including basis-of-design reports and improvement plans.
  • Conduct and participate in public and client presentations.
  • Manage internal project documentation and records.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineering staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Arizona or the ability to obtain one quickly.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in water and wastewater design.
  • Demonstrated experience with infrastructure such as pump stations, pipelines, reservoirs, lift stations, and well systems.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills in a team-based setting.
  • Proficient communication skills-both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
