Waste Management Consultant

• Conduct waste audits and thorough assessments of waste management practices, waste generation patterns, and disposal methods for various clients .
• Provide training to the operations team and client staff
• Analyse waste data to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement in waste management efficiency.
• Develop tailored waste management plans that align with each client's goals and requirements. Recommend strategies for waste reduction, recycling, and responsible disposal.
• Stay informed about waste management regulations and ensure that clients adhere to local, regional, and national waste disposal guidelines.
• Work closely with internal teams, clients, waste disposal vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless implementation of waste management strategies.
• Provide guidance and training to clients, operation teams and employees on best practices for waste segregation, recycling, and waste minimization techniques.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of waste management initiatives. Continuously evaluate progress and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Provide expert advice on the waste app development.
• Techno-commercial evaluation of various waste management and recycling measures such as composting machines
• Stay updated on emerging waste management technologies, circular economy, and industry trends. Integrate innovative solutions into client strategies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for clients, detailing progress, achievements, and potential areas for further improvement in waste management practices.
• Perform waste inspections and provide guidance to the operations team regarding housekeeping and strategies for waste management, along with maintaining monthly records.
• Participate in and provide support for sales and business development activities related to waste management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Waste Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in waste management, sustainability consulting, or a related role.
• Solid understanding of waste reduction strategies, recycling methodologies, and circular economy principles.
• Familiarity with waste disposal regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret waste data and recommend actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey waste management concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose innovative waste management solutions.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Relevant certifications in waste management, sustainability, or related fields are advantageous (True Waste Certification is a plus)
