About the job Sustainability Consultant
Conduct sustainability and carbon audits, including site visits and comprehensive assessments of sustainability initiatives.
Execute all phases of greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories development including data gathering, quality checks and analysis
Develop carbon metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarking schemes
Perform in-depth life cycle assessments to evaluate the carbon emissions of both products and processes.
Collaborate with clients to establish ambitious net-zero science-based targets and plans .
Devise innovative solutions to achieve net-zero and carbon neutrality, addressing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
Collect and analyse sustainability data, identifying trends, areas of concern, and improvement opportunities.
Conduct research and development on new sustainability and carbon-related topics.
Provide subject matter expertise and contribute to the development of Powertek and Carbontek tools.
Identify and analyse carbon reduction measures and their commercial impacts
Source carbon credits and participate in the development of carbon projects and credits
Conduct third-party verification for GHG inventories in accordance with recognized standards such as ISO1406
Manage carbon projects and team and ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
Possess knowledge and contribute to the development of carbon disclosures following internationally recognized frameworks such as TCFD.
Develop Carbon Neutrality plans in alignment with PAS2060 guidelines.
Actively participate in and support sales and business development activities for all services.
Offer expertise and guidance on emerging trends and best practices in carbon management and sustainability.
Cultivate and manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and continued collaboration on sustainability endeavors.
Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative team atmosphere.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, workshops, and forums.
