  • Planning and Strategizing
  • Ensure that there are no supply disruptions by developing multiple supply options and contingency plans including optimum inventory management
  • Assess total costs of company purchases, develop strategies to reduce costs in procurement and supplier management
  • Procurement Handling
  • Support users with post implementation procedural or system issues
  • Manage on time delivery of material and services to internal customers
  • Remain up to date with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market
  • Route, copy and circulate quotes, bids and proposal for evaluation
  • Make POs for Electrical, Mechanical, IT, Admin, Safety user requirements.
  • Vendor Management
  • Vendor Relationship Management on basis of frequency of POs, rejection and payment terms.
  • Effective selection and management of suppliers to support lean manufacturing processes
  • Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
  • Correspondence with Cross Functionaries
  • Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
  • Coordinate with finance, Store, User and vendors for payment, rejections, inventory controls
  • Day to Day follow up with internal customers for satisfaction
  • Compliance
  • Review marketing material and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor shipments to ensure the compliance of regulations
  • Ensure all procurement documents and other records relating to procurement procedures are collected and maintained for audit trails
