As a Freelance Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of your clients' travel arrangements, from initial inquiry to post-trip follow-up. You'll be working closely with our clients, vendors, and internal team to craft personalized itineraries and ensure your customers have an exceptional and stress-free travel experience. This is a remote, freelance position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own location with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Create fantastic travel itineraries that cater to individual tastes and preferences, including flights, accommodations, transportation, activities, and excursions.
- Source with vendors, airlines, hotels, and local guides to secure the best possible rates and experiences for clients.
- Manage travel bookings and reservations efficiently, ensuring all logistics are in place and properly documented.
- Handle any modifications or changes to travel plans promptly and efficiently.
- Provide timely and accurate travel information, including visa requirements, safety tips, and cultural insights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, destinations, and industry developments.
- Handle post-travel follow-up to gather feedback from clients and ensure their satisfaction.
- Leverage marketing content and promotions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Travel Coordinator, Travel Agent, or a related role is preferred.
- Passion for travel and a deep understanding of various travel destinations and cultures.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote, freelance environment.
- Proficiency in using travel booking platforms and related software.
- Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and varying workloads.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus, but not required.
- Must reside in the U.S.
- Must have own computer or smartphone
