We are looking for an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to manage, support, and continuously improve our e-learning platform and ensure a seamless learning experience for users across the organisation.

Overview

The LMS Administrator will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the LMS platform, managing learning content and users, supporting system integrations, resolving technical issues, and producing learning reports.

This role requires strong technical and organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with learners, instructors, managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain the LMS platform in alignment with organisational learning objectives.
  • Customise the LMS interface, branding, settings, and functionality according to business requirements.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and security measures to maintain platform stability and data integrity.
  • Integrate the LMS with internal systems, including HRIS, CRM, and single sign-on solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standards to support content sharing and communication with external learning platforms.
  • Configure and manage e-commerce functionality, including payment gateway setup, integration, and troubleshooting for course monetisation.
  • Upload, organise, and maintain courses, modules, quizzes, assessments, and other learning materials.
  • Categorise and tag learning content accurately and ensure it is accessible to the appropriate users.
  • Ensure learning content complies with SCORM and xAPI standards.
  • Execute approved templates for defined learning paths.
  • Create and manage user accounts, roles, permissions, registrations, enrolments, and deactivations.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding and assign appropriate access levels to learners, instructors, and managers.
  • Set up and manage multiple LMS branches or tenants for different organisational units, regional offices, or external clients.
  • Provide first-line technical support to learners, instructors, and administrators for login, course access, and other platform-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems and escalate complex issues to vendors or internal IT teams when required.
  • Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other LMS support documentation.
  • Generate and analyse reports covering learner progress, course completion, engagement, and training effectiveness.
  • Develop customised reports based on business and stakeholder requirements.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive user and learning data.
  • Maintain audit trails and accurate records of learning activities.
  • Communicate system updates, incidents, and changes clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Gather user feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and implement platform enhancements.
  • Stay informed about emerging e-learning technologies, LMS features, and instructional design best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in LMS administration, configuration, or technical support.
  • Practical knowledge of LMS user management, course administration, roles, permissions, and enrolment processes.
  • Experience managing digital learning content, courses, quizzes, assessments, and learning paths.
  • Good understanding of SCORM, xAPI, and LTI standards.
  • Familiarity with system integrations, including HRIS, CRM, SSO, APIs, and third-party learning platforms.
  • Experience creating LMS reports and analysing learner progress, completion, and engagement data.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of user data protection, system security, audit trails, and access controls.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset with a strong focus on platform stability and user experience.

Desirable

  • Experience configuring e-commerce functionality and payment gateways within an LMS.
  • Experience setting up and managing multiple LMS branches or tenants.
  • Familiarity with common corporate LMS platforms such as Moodle, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors Learning, or Docebo.
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning best practices.
  • Experience supporting learning platforms used across multiple regions or organisational units.
