This is a part-time, leadership-focused educator role within a long-standing, community-managed kindergarten — one of the very few services in Victoria positioned directly on the foreshore.

Your role in practice
You will:
- Design and lead a high-quality Friday care program that reflects the service's play-based, nature-led philosophy
- Plan and deliver engaging holiday programs, including excursions and incursions
- Support and mentor educators and trainees, contributing to overall team capability
This is a structured part-time role consisting of:
- One day per week, leading the Friday extended hours program (8:30am–4:30pm)
- Approximately 0.5–1 day per week dedicated to planning, mentoring, and supporting educators
- Additional hours available during school holiday programs, including additional planning time in the lead-up to the break

What you bring
- Minimum two years' experience in early childhood education and care
- ACECQA-approved qualification (Diploma minimum or working toward a Bachelor's degree — Graduate Diploma not suitable)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Mandatory Reporting and compliance certifications
- Strong communication and organisational capability
- Confidence in leading a team and engaging with families
- A genuine passion for play-based and nature-led learning
