Seeking an experienced Centre Manager to join an established service in Richmond for a temporary three-month contract! 

  • Caters to 50 children a day with a team of Educators who have remained for more than 15 years!
  • Earn an hourly rate of $60 p/hr to $65 p/hr
  • Occupancy is already very high! 
  • Close to train stations, public transport and Bridge Road plus a dedicated parking spot for the Centre Manager. 

The role and service 

We are searching for an enthusiastic and experienced Centre Manager for a role with a beautiful Childcare Centre in Richmond which is licensed to 50 children a day. 

The Centre provides a bilingual and multicultural program and draws children from the surrounding municipalities and throughout the Metropolitan area. Our philosophy is to provide reliable and responsive childcare and education. Our staff are dedicated to the overall physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth and development of young children and are committed to preparing them for their future life in a changing multicultural society.

We are looking for a strong leader with experience in a similar setting to join our supportive and collaborative team on a 3-month contract. There is a strong possibility that this may become permanent beyond that. You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served.

About you

  • Diploma in Child Services (or higher qualification)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years continuous experience in a senior leadership role in a long daycare setting (not negotiable)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Inherently responsible and dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for children and staff
  • Successful undertaking of an Assessment and Rating with pleasing results
  • Willingness to continue professional development and contribute to ongoing learning
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and the wider community
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
