We currently have opportunities for qualified early childhood educators (Cert III and Diploma) to work full-time at an exceeding-rated 60-place centre in Cheltenham.

Your new work environment

With a waitlist for families over a year, you are in excellent hands at this privately owned centre. You will be an integral part of a team of dedicated educators who work collaboratively to create a stimulating, positive, and inclusive environment.

The centre boasts age-appropriate, spacious outdoor areas with tanbark and natural elements and terrific indoor environments adorned with natural elements. These environments are full of open-ended spaces where children can develop strength and self-confidence.  The natural, beautiful indoor and outdoor environments are exceptionally cared for, with meticulous thought going into every detail.

The atmosphere inside the centre is serene and calm, fostering a sense of peace and tranquillity. The children are very settled, and it's even rare to hear shouting! The existing team genuinely loves to come to work, and the children and families have created a very positive work environment.

If the tranquil work environment is not already a huge benefit, all staff can access an off-site staff retreat during breaks or before/after work. The retreat is equipped with a lounge area, a full kitchen, a small gym, and offices for planning away from the centre. 

What we are looking for:

• A genuine passion for providing excellence in early childhood education and care
• Completed Cert III or Diploma in Child Services (please note that we are not taking graduate diplomas at this time).
• Sound knowledge of the NQF, including the VEYLDF, EYLF, and NQS.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Excellent programming, observation, and documentation skills
• Experience working in a long daycare environment
• Ability to work to a rotating roster 07:30-6:00 pm
