The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, engaging, and suitably qualified Health and Physical Education teacher to join our team. This position is full-time commencing in Term 1, 2025. The Health and PE teacher is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of a high-quality sports and physical education programme that supports children in developing a wide range of skills and a healthy attitude towards social and physical activities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to best teaching practices and a goal-oriented, evidence-based approach to improving student learning outcomes.

We are looking for an individual who exhibits a learning disposition in relation to all aspects of this position, striving for continuous improvement and bringing the required skills and experience.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (Master's preferred)
• VIT registration *Requirement*
• Knowledge of teaching, learning styles and study skills
• Knowledge of the Victorian Middle and Senior Victorian curriculum with the ability to teach VCE PE.
• The ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
• Have unrestricted work rights in Australia
