We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking optometrist to join this private practice for either a full-time or part-time position. The ideal candidate will embody a growth mindset, be team-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment. While residency training is preferred, it is not a requirement.
Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and eye health, averaging 20 patients a day.
- Provide contact lens exams and fittings tailored to individual patient needs.
- Offer LASIK consultations and evaluate patients for surgical eligibility.
- Screen for ocular diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure exceptional patient care and a positive work environment.
The state-of-the-art facilities include six examination lanes equipped with Marco AR and computerized refraction systems, ensuring precise diagnostics. They have a dedicated testing room for advanced diagnostics, as well as a pretesting room designed for efficiency. The laser room is complete with a YAG/SLT combination laser, providing a wide range of treatment options. Additionally, they offer access to cutting-edge imaging tools, including the Spectralis OCT with AF, Optos California AF, Diopsys VEP, and RetEVAL ERG, among others. To further enhance patient care, the specialized testing team is available to assist with advanced procedures, such as myopia management and meibography.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 per year
- Loan Repayment: Up to $150,000 over a 5-year term
- Bonus Structure: Earnings based on collections beyond a base minimum, with no maximum limitour average is 16 collections!

Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining
