About the Role

We are looking for a QA Team Lead who will not only ensure the quality of our mobile applications but also drive the growth and efficiency of the QA team. In this role, you'll balance hands-on testing with strategic team leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience and build reliable, high-quality products. Reporting Line - Head of Quality Assurance

Worksite: Remote


Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of 6 QA engineers.

  • Take part in a mobile testing as a QA

  • Advocating for quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.

  • Hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new team members.

  • Setting clear goals and expectations for each team member, providing regular feedback through one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.

  • Actively participating in Agile team management, organizing and improving QA processes in development teams: Defining and implementing best practices.

  • Ensuring smooth collaboration between QA, developers, product managers, and other teams.

  • Ensuring comprehensive test coverage for new features and releases.

  • Defining areas for test automation and coordinating automation efforts within the team.


Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile application testing (iOS, Android); web/desktop QA experience will be a plus

  • Experience managing a QA team (5+ engineers).

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

  • Ability to set clear objectives and track performance.

  • Experience distributing tasks and ensuring an efficient workflow.

  • Experience implementing and optimizing QA processes in Agile teams.

  • Skills in assessing release quality, managing priorities, and mitigating risks.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools, test management systems, and task trackers (Jira, QASE).

  • Skilled in establishing and managing automation testing tasks
