About the Role

As an Onboarding Officer, you will be ensuring that tasks and processes align with the Companys strategy and are adapted as needed through close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization. We expect you to take an active role in further developing the area, challenging existing workflows, and fostering a positive and engaging workplace for both yourself and peers around you. You are also expected to stay current with new and emerging threats in global sanctions regulations and AML laws.

Reporting Line: Onboarding Team Lead

Worksite: Cyprus

Responsibilities:

• Manage client onboarding process, review of client applications, check that all required legal documents and associated information to meet all regulatory and internal policies.

• Act as a subject matter expert on required legal documents and process to onboard a client.
• Undertake quality review of clients KYC records.

• Manage and facilitate client due diligence.

• Serve as a point of contact for KYC and reporting issues of designated clients.

• Act as a KYC and AML subject matter resource for the company's stakeholders.

• Act as a subject matter resource on the KYC/AML policies and procedures.

• Discuss and escalate with MLRO/Compliance complex issues surrounding client types nd structures, financial products and services and other AML risk-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field 3 years of experience in client onboarding, account opening, or KYC (Know Your Customer) processes

• Familiarity with brokerage or financial services operations

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Ability to liaise with clients and internal departments professionally

• Strong attention to detail
