About the Role

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and systems-focused Paralegal & Legal Administrator to support our legal team. You will also be instrumental in optimizing and developing our corporate governance function, document management system and workflows. The role includes providing direct support to lawyers, handling administrative duties, and dealing with minor legal tasks. This position offers a clear trajectory for growth, with the successful candidate becoming a core contributor as we introduce further process automation.


Reporting Line: Chief Legal Officer

Worksite: Remote/ Hybrid


Responsibilities

  • Corporate Governance Development & Administration: Assist with the development, structuring, and ongoing administration of corporate governance tasks, documentation, and compliance, ensuring accurate entity records.

  • Document & Workflow Optimisation: Manage, organise, and maintain legal documents, files, and databases. Drive improvements in the existing document management system and flows, ensuring efficiency and accessibility.

  • Legal & Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to lawyers, dealing with minor legal tasks as assigned. Support the intake, tracking, and resolution of legal queries through Jira Desk or similar systems.

  • Contract Administration: Assist with contract management, including drafting standard templates, tracking execution, and maintaining contract registers.

  • Research & Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document flow. Conduct basic legal research and prepare summaries as required.


Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification, legal studies, or relevant experience in a legal environment.

  • Demonstrated understanding or experience in supporting corporate governance function.

  • Experience working with document management systems and workflows.

  • Strong organisational and document management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Familiarity with Jira Desk or similar workflow systems.
