About the Role

The Corporate Treasury Officer is responsible for executing and monitoring payment transactions. This role ensures all outgoing payments are processed accurately, securely, and in a timely manner.

Reporting Line: Chief Financial Officer

Worksite: remote


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute fund transfers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all internal and external payments and receipts.

  • Maintain and reconcile treasury management systems, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial and transactional data.

  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, operational controls, and external regulatory requirements.

  • Book payment transactions from bank statements into the accounting system, ensuring alignment with ledger entries and supporting documentation.

  • Provide timely payment confirmations to internal requestors and relevant stakeholders.

  • Manage the issuance, renewal, and administration of corporate cards, including monitoring usage and resolving card-related issues.

  • Analyse corporate card transactions to detect anomalies, ensure appropriate categorisation, and obtain supporting documentation.

  • Assist in the development, documentation, and enforcement of treasury-related policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

  • Participate in projects aimed at optimising treasury processes and enhancing integration with accounting systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • 24 years of relevant experience in treasury operations, cash management, or payments processing.

  • Familiarity with treasury management systems.

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
