Position Overview
This is a foundational role requiring a strategic leader who will build the sales function from scratch, establish a structured sales pipeline, and develop a go-to-market strategy for IT services across the United States. The ideal candidate is a US citizen or green card holder with a proven track record in private sector sales, capable of identifying and securing high-value deals, structuring a scalable sales operation, and driving long-term revenue growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with ExeQuts long-term business objectives.
- Identify market opportunities and establish a scalable sales pipeline to secure IT services contracts.
- Conduct market analysis to track trends, competitor activities, and client needs, refining strategies accordingly.
- Define and implement sales processes, pricing models, and service positioning to optimize deal closures.
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in the US private sector, positioning ExeQut as a trusted IT partner.
- Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Lead negotiations and contract closures, ensuring long-term business success.
- Establish trusted, performance-driven relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
Sales Operations & Team Development
- Establish a structured sales function, including sales processes, reporting, and forecasting.
- Lay the foundation for a high-performance sales team, defining hiring needs and growth plans for future expansion.
- Set sales targets and KPIs, ensuring a data-driven approach to growth.
Sales Planning & Performance Tracking
- Develop and manage the sales budget and revenue forecasts.
- Implement effective tracking and reporting systems to monitor pipeline health and conversion rates.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activities and customer interactions.
Market Expertise & Competitive Positioning
- Maintain deep knowledge of the US IT services market and private sector procurement trends.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry best practices, and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in IT services or system integration sales, specifically within the US private sector.
- Proven ability to develop and execute a sales strategy from the ground up, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience building and structuring a scalable sales function, including defining processes and sales KPIs.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and data-driven sales management practices.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives.
- US citizen or green card holder required.
- Existing network of contacts within the US private sector IT services market.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and long-term business relationships.
