Requirements for Construction – Sr. Project Manager – Tulsa, OK
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline
- Equivalent combination of education and directly related commercial construction experience will also be considered
- 10+ years of progressive commercial construction project management experience**
- Recent experience working directly for a medium to large commercial General Contractor
- Proven experience managing large, complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project completion
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, estimating, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project controls
- Demonstrated experience managing Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), negotiated, and hard bid projects
- Experience leading preconstruction efforts, buyout, subcontract negotiations, and scope development
- Proven ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects and project teams
- Experience managing project financials, forecasting, cost reporting, profitability, and margin performance
- Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction law principles, risk management, and change order administration
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering healthcare, education, corporate, industrial, municipal, or other large commercial construction projects
- Experience utilizing Lean Construction principles
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Experience mentoring Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers
Professional certifications such as:
- PMP
- LEED AP
- DBIA
- CCM (Certified Construction Manager)
Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States
