Bookkeeper (QuickBooks & Excel) – Part Time

A growing property management business currently operates seven self-storage facilities, each maintained as its own separate accounting entity. In addition, the company manages several other properties and plans to expand its self-storage portfolio year by year.

They are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper who can step into the role with minimal onboarding and confidently manage multiple sets of books. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a growing real estate and property management environment.

The position will start at approximately 20 hours per week, with a strong possibility of increasing to full-time (40 hours per week) as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage bookkeeping for multiple self-storage property accounts

  • Record and reconcile financial transactions in QuickBooks

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Maintain organized financial records for each property

  • Prepare basic financial reports and summaries

  • Assist with monthly closing processes

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple property accounts

  • Work closely with management to support financial tracking as the portfolio expands

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to manage multiple sets of books simultaneously

  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience in property management or real estate accounting is a plus
