Amazon Brand Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Amazon Brand Manager to take full ownership of the performance and growth of assigned brands on Amazon.

The Amazon Brand Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the managed brands' Amazon business, with a primary focus on increasing sales, profitability, and market share. This role requires someone who can analyze performance, identify opportunities, coordinate with internal teams, and execute initiatives that improve the overall health and growth of each brand.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Brand Performance

· Take ownership of sales, profitability, and overall performance for assigned brands and SKUs.

· Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, conversion rates, organic rankings, and market share.

· Regularly review brand and SKU-level performance to identify growth opportunities and areas requiring improvement.

· Monitor key performance indicators, including sales, traffic, conversion rate, advertising efficiency, inventory levels, pricing, and profitability.

Listing Management and Optimization

· Ensure all product listings are accurate, complete, compliant, and optimized for conversion and organic search.

· Improve product titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, images, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and other listing assets.

· Coordinate listing updates, new product launches, variations, and catalog corrections.

· Monitor listing suppressions, content issues, customer feedback, and competitive positioning.

Inventory Management

· Monitor inventory levels across Amazon FBA and Vendor Central to maintain healthy stock availability.

· Work with purchasing, operations, and supply chain teams to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.

· Review sales velocity, forecasts, lead times, and inbound inventory to support proper replenishment planning.

· Identify and resolve FBA, Vendor Central, or fulfillment-related issues that may impact sales.

Pricing and Profitability

· Develop and manage pricing strategies that balance competitiveness, sales growth, and profitability.

· Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, Buy Box performance, Amazon retail pricing, and market trends.

· Review product margins, fees, advertising costs, discounts, and other expenses to improve profitability.

· Recommend promotions, coupons, deals, business pricing, and other pricing initiatives when appropriate.

Advertising and Marketing

· Work closely with the advertising team to develop and improve Amazon advertising strategies.

· Review campaign performance, budgets, ROAS, TACoS, and advertising contribution to overall sales.

· Ensure advertising efforts are aligned with brand goals, inventory availability, product launches, and profitability targets.

· Identify additional marketing opportunities through promotions, seasonal campaigns, Brand Stores, Amazon programs, and external traffic.

Growth Initiatives

· Identify new opportunities to increase sales through product launches, bundles, variations, improved content, promotions, and expanded keyword targeting.

· Conduct competitive and category research to understand market trends and identify gaps.

· Develop launch plans for new products and manage execution across content, pricing, inventory, and advertising.

· Stay informed about Amazon platform updates, programs, tools, policies, and best practices.

Reporting and Cross-Functional Coordination

· Prepare regular performance reports highlighting results, challenges, opportunities, and recommended actions.

· Work closely with advertising, creative, purchasing, operations, finance, customer service, and leadership teams.

· Maintain clear action plans for each managed brand and ensure projects are completed on schedule.

· Take ownership of resolving issues that negatively affect sales, profitability, or the customer experience.

Qualifications

· Experience managing brands, product lines, or seller/vendor accounts on Amazon.

· Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, FBA, and Amazon advertising.

· Experience with listing optimization, inventory planning, pricing, promotions, and performance analysis.

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear actions.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

· Strong organizational and project management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple brands, SKUs, and priorities simultaneously.

· Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly accountable.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience with Amazon analytics and research tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, or similar platforms is preferred.

They do not simply monitor performance—they identify problems, develop solutions, coordinate execution, and take ownership of delivering measurable sales and profit growth.
