Logistic Specialist

Remote: open to different shifts and Saturdays

We specialize in managing the entire logistics process between caterers and jet planes. Our operations run 24/7, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food and items to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email Management:
  • Respond to incoming orders via email within 3 minutes.
  • Upload order details into the web-based, custom-built system.
  • Send order details to caterers (suppliers).

Coordination:

  • Maintain the middle-man position to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure deliveries are on time.
  • Liaise with caterers and drivers frequently via phone.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Upload imagery of each order into the system.
  • Process payments to caterers.
  • Upload invoices into the system.
  • Check and match invoices with bank transactions.

System Requirements:

  • Dual screens are preferred but not necessary (helpful for tab management).
  • Own laptop.
  • Flexible to work on Saturdays and different shifts.
  • Own an updated laptop.
  • Availability to start immediately.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent email and phone communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in logistics or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
