We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper with QuickBooks experience to join our school's administrative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in quiet, focused work environments during evening or night time hours. Candidates must have previous experience working within a school or educational institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in QuickBooks

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements

  • Assist with payroll entries and tracking staff expenses

  • Maintain accurate records of income, grants, donations, and school-related expenditures

  • Generate financial reports as needed by school leadership

  • Collaborate with the finance or admin team to ensure budget compliance

  • Assist in preparing for audits and inspections

Requirements:

  • Proven experience using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)

  • Prior bookkeeping experience in a school environment (non-negotiable)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of general accounting principles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools

  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial data

  • Bookkeeping certification or relevant qualification (preferred)
