Remote Medical Biller

Location: Remote (South Africa-based candidates only)

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM- 11:00 PM (SA time)

Friday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM (SA time)

We are a well-established and growing DME (Durable Medical Equipment) company based in the U.S., committed to providing quality care and products to our clients. As we expand our billing team, we are looking for smart, humble, detail-oriented individuals to join us remotely.

You will be responsible for accurately processing and managing billing for medical equipment, ensuring compliance with U.S. healthcare regulations and payer guidelines. This is a fast-paced environment where being proactive, tech-savvy, and meticulous is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process medical claims related to DME services
• Ensure accuracy of patient information, insurance data, and documentation
• Submit claims to insurance providers and follow up on unpaid or rejected claims
• Work with internal systems to track billing and reimbursement status
• Communicate effectively with the team to resolve billing issues
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards

Requirements:

• Experience in medical billing (experience in South Africa is acceptable)
• Familiarity with DME billing is a strong advantage
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software and systems
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
• Fast learner who gets it and shows initiative
• Humble team player with strong communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and own laptop
