Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member to join our accounting department. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and accounting support experience, preferably within the insurance industry, who enjoys working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and processing invoices, accurately capturing information into Applied Epic, reconciling accounts, and preparing internal invoices. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of financial and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process supplier and internal invoices
  • Capture and maintain accurate records within Applied Epic
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and issue internal invoices
  • Assist with general accounting and administrative duties
  • Maintain accurate filing and financial documentation
  • Liaise with internal teams regarding invoice and account queries

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance support role
  • Insurance industry experience is highly advantageous
  • Experience working with Applied Epic would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good numerical and reconciliation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a team environment
