Finance Manager (Offshore)

Location: Remote (Offshore) 

Working Hours : 3pm - 11pm 

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to lead and oversee our offshore finance and administrative organization. This is a senior leadership position responsible for the financial health, reporting, internal controls, budgeting, cash flow, accounting operations, and executive support functions of the company.

The Finance Manager will manage a high-performing team of approximately nine professionals across Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resources, Recruiting, Compliance, and Administrative functions. This individual will work directly with the CEO, providing strategic financial guidance, operational oversight, and leadership to support the company's rapid growth.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can build systems, improve processes, develop people, and provide accurate financial information that drives executive decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

  • Lead all accounting and finance operations.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
  • Prepare executive financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and working capital strategies.
  • Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.
  • Build executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs.

Accounting & Treasury

  • Oversee Accounts Receivable, collections, and cash application.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and vendor management.
  • Supervise payroll accuracy and processing.
  • Manage general ledger integrity and reconciliations.
  • Maintain strong internal financial controls.
  • Coordinate with banks, external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals.
  • Manage company banking relationships and cash management.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare rolling financial forecasts.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and spending.
  • Present monthly financial performance reports to executive leadership.
  • Develop meaningful financial KPIs across all departments.
  • Provide recommendations that support business growth and profitability.

Human Resources Oversight

Provide executive oversight for:

  • Recruiting and hiring processes
  • Employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Payroll administration
  • Performance review processes
  • HR policies and procedures
  • Employee documentation
  • Compensation administration
  • Workforce planning

Compliance & Corporate Governance

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
  • Oversee business licenses, permits, insurance renewals, and corporate records.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel regarding contracts, litigation, employment matters, and corporate compliance.
  • Review vendor agreements and major customer contracts before execution.
  • Maintain corporate governance documentation and compliance calendars.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Improve workflows through automation and technology.
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
  • Build scalable systems that support company growth.
  • Drive cross-departmental efficiency and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
  • 5+ years leading multi-functional teams.
  • Experience managing remote or offshore teams.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence decisions.
