Product Design & Packaging Coordinator

Full-Time | US Working Hours | Independent Contractor

Our client is a growing consumer products company that manufactures crafts, toys, and related products in China and sells to major US retailers including Walmart and Target. They are looking for a creative and organized Product Design & Packaging Coordinator to support product development and packaging initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with product design and development for crafts, toys, and consumer products
• Create and coordinate packaging design concepts aligned with brand standards and retailer requirements
• Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers in China to support product production
• Collaborate with internal teams on product ideas, revisions, and approvals
• Prepare design files, mockups, and product presentations when needed
• Ensure packaging, labeling, and product specifications meet retailer standards
• Help manage timelines and communication throughout the product development process

Requirements

• Experience in product design, packaging design, or consumer product development
• Strong creative and organizational skills
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar programs
• Experience working with physical products, retail packaging, or overseas manufacturing preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience with products sold through large retailers is an advantage
