Account Manager

Location: Remote – South Africa
Working Hours: US Business Hours (3:00 PM onwards SA Time)

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Account Manager with a strong competitive drive. In this position, you will own client relationships, qualify and nurture warm leads, run email and call seeding campaigns, and guide high-value commercial utility projects through the sales pipeline using our platform.

Key Responsibilities 

• Execute targeted email and phone seeding strategies to warm prospects, qualify inbound leads, and re-engage established commercial contractor and engineering partners.
• Manage full-cycle account relationships across nationwide utility projects, ensuring quick follow-up, accurate quoting support, and ongoing account growth.
• Maintain flawless record-keeping in our CRM—tracking lead status, opportunity stages, communication logs, account activity, and revenue forecasts.
• Serve as the primary conduit between commercial clients, general contractors, site directors, and internal production/operations teams.

Technical & Financial Administration

• Leverage basic Excel skills to analyze project parameters, track footage rates, compile pricing sheets, and process basic unit cost estimates
• Manage basic transactional account logistics, including invoice tracking, verifying local sales tax compliance across multi-state projects, and coordinating billing milestones with financial teams.
• Compose clear, professional emails, project briefs, and proposal cover letters to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on or administrative exposure to construction, civil trades, or utility infrastructure
• Experience with CRM's to maintain lead pipelines, log activity, and manage sales workflows.
• Working knowledge of Excel for basic spreadsheet management and pricing formulas
• General understanding of basic transactional math, sales tax line items, and job invoicing
