Job Title: Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (South African Time)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) with a strong background in insurance and a passion for customer service. This role supports a growing commercial insurance department and involves managing client relationships, preparing insurance proposals, and assisting with policy servicing for commercial clients.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in handling client communication while ensuring accurate policy administration and coverage analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage client relationships from initial engagement through policy renewal.
Prepare and present insurance proposals, particularly for Real Estate portfolios and Contractor accounts.
Edit and customize proposal templates, including coverage and premium comparisons.
Handle online quoting, certificates of insurance, and policy endorsements.
Review contracts and perform coverage analysis to ensure clients have appropriate protection.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance markets and coverage options.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Requirements
Property & Casualty Insurance License (required).
Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience, preferably working with Real Estate portfolios and Contractors.
Experience with AMS360 or similar insurance management systems (preferred).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
