Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM SA Time

About the Role

Our US-based client is seeking an experienced Commercial Short-Term Insurance Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, including both Personal and Commercial Lines. You will play a key role in managing policy renewals, servicing existing clients, processing policy changes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a client-focused position requiring excellent attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and the ability to manage multiple insurance accounts efficiently while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Personal and Commercial Lines policy renewals.
• Review insurance policies and identify coverage deficiencies.
• Process policy renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Analyze client accounts and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Cross-sell, upsell, and round out existing insurance accounts.
• Download, review, and process policy documents.
• Update client information within the insurance management system.
• Collect and process premium payments.
• Respond to client enquiries professionally and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure policies are processed accurately and on time.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in Property & Casualty (Short-Term) Insurance is essential.
• Experience with both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance.
• Strong knowledge of policy renewals, endorsements, and account servicing.
• Previous customer service experience within the insurance industry.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer literate with experience using insurance management systems.
• Stable internet connection with backup power.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in insurance sales or brokerage.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management.
• Experience working with US insurance clients.
• Real estate insurance experience is advantageous.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is advantageous.
