Temporary Product & Marketing Manager

Location: UK-based / Remote
Contract: Temporary, initially 4 months / through to the end of 2026
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: UK hours

About the Company

We are a growing UK-based direct-to-consumer ecommerce business with a strong focus on product, marketing and customer experience.

We are looking for an experienced Product & Marketing Manager to provide immediate, hands-on support while we recruit a permanent UK-based team member.

The Role

We are looking for a confident, highly organised and hands-on Product & Marketing Manager who can step into the business and take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity and product launches.

This is not a purely strategic role. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys getting into the detail, making things happen, chasing outstanding actions and ensuring launches and campaigns are delivered accurately and on time.

You will work closely with the manager, bringing much-needed structure, organisation and discipline to a fast-paced environment where priorities can change and things can sometimes be chaotic.

You should be able to hit the ground running, quickly understand what needs to be done and confidently take responsibility for getting it over the line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Take ownership of launch timelines, ensuring everything is prepared and delivered on schedule
  • Coordinate and chase required creative, product, marketing and other assets
  • Set up and coordinate product launches across relevant channels
  • Support with writing and preparing email marketing campaigns
  • Work within Klaviyo to support email campaign execution and scheduling
  • Ensure marketing communications are accurate, timely and aligned with the launch plan
  • Keep track of actions, deadlines and dependencies across multiple projects
  • Proactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects moving
  • Identify potential delays or issues and take action before they become problems
  • Bring greater structure and organisation to the marketing and product launch process
  • Support the planning and execution of new product launches from start to finish
  • Work closely with the manager to ensure priorities are clear and deadlines are met
  • Be comfortable jumping between tasks and responding to changing priorities
  • Take a practical, "roll up your sleeves and get it done" approach

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Ecommerce Manager or similar professional who is comfortable operating in a hands-on environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience managing product launches, marketing campaigns or ecommerce launches
  • Strong project and task management skills
  • Experience working with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly for customer-facing email marketing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The confidence to work independently and take ownership
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong follow-up and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving and sometimes unstructured environment
  • The confidence to step in quickly and make an immediate impact

Personality & Working Style

We're looking for someone who is:

Hands-on | Organised | Proactive | Detail-oriented | Confident | Adaptable | Solutions-focused

You won't be waiting to be told what to do. You'll be someone who sees what needs doing, takes ownership and gets it done.
