About the Role

Our client is seeking an Aircraft Support & Maintenance Assistant to join their team at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on aviation environment, supporting aircraft operations, maintenance activities, and hangar operations.

The role is suitable for both experienced aviation professionals seeking part-time flexible work and ambitious junior candidates looking to develop a career within aircraft maintenance and engineering support. Full training will be provided for specific tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of aircraft before flight operations.
• Receive aircraft after flight and support aircraft parking and hangaring activities.
• Conduct daily aircraft walkaround inspections.
• Perform aircraft husbandry duties, including cabin cleaning and general upkeep.
• Support maintenance engineers with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Carry out basic aircraft maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised hangar environment.
• Assist with stock control, tooling management, and general housekeeping duties.
• Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

Essential

• Strong interest in aviation and aircraft operations.

Desirable

• EASA Part-66 Category A Licence.
• Previous aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience in aircraft handling, ground operations, or technical environments.
• Understanding of aviation safety practices and procedures.
