About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trade Desk Support Specialist to provide operational and technical support to our trading team. In this role, you will act as a liaison between traders, IT, and operations, ensuring the seamless execution of trades and the resolution of technical and operational issues. Your ability to work under pressure, troubleshoot complex problems, and maintain a strong understanding of trading systems and financial markets will be critical to success.

Responsibilities
- Trade Support:
Monitor and manage trading activity across multiple platforms to
ensure accurate and timely execution of trades.- Assist traders in resolving trade discrepancies, breaks, or errors by coordinating with internal and external counterparties.
- System Monitoring and Issue Resolution:
Proactively monitor trading systems and applications to ensure
optimal performance and uptime.- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate technical or operational issues to the relevant teams, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Client and Broker Liaison:
Act as a point of contact for brokers, clients, and internal teams
for
trade-related queries and issues.- Maintain strong relationships with external counterparties to facilitate smooth trade execution.
- Reporting and Documentation:
Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports on trade
performance, system metrics, and issue resolution.- Document processes, workflows, and resolution steps to build a knowledge base for the trade desk.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory and internal
policies.- Identify and report potential risks or breaches in compliance to appropriate stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related
field.- 1-3 years of experience in trade support, operations, or a similar role within financial services.
- Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FIX Protocol, EMS/OMS systems) and financial instruments (e.g., equities, derivatives, FX).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.
