Front-End Developer

Based in Greenside, Johannesburg

My client is a leading software provider for businesses and are looking for a suitable candidate to develop, maintain and optimise responsive websites and web applications.

Candidate Minimum Requirements
Should be proficient in the following:

• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• Working with API's
• Candidates who have additional skills will be preferred such as:
• Knowledge of React / Bootstrap and other libraries
• PHP Knowledge
• Experience with WooCommerce and other E-Commerce platforms
• Knowledge of building iOS and Android Apps
• Photoshop and Design Skills
• Education and General Working Experience:
• Matric
• Relevant IT Diploma or related Degree advantageous
• Minimum 2 years work experience
• Candidates must be able to showcase a portfolio of their frontend work.

Job Description:

• Develop, maintain, and optimise responsive websites and web applications.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Implement clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices
• Taking ownership of issues and work with Teams to resolve more advanced issues when required.
