Position Summary:

As an Accountant and Auditor at Evolution Sports Group, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of our company. You will work closely with our team of professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting, as well as provide valuable insights and recommendations for financial decision-making. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our headquarters in [Location].

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

- Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents as required.

- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

- Train and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- CPA or other relevant certification preferred.

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in a similar industry.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with sports management or related industry is a plus.
