Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Medical Receptionist / Patient Scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling of patient appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient and timely scheduling

- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic medical records system

- Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims as needed

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner

- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the company

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in a medical receptionist or scheduling role

- Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
