ESM is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Payroll Administrator (UAE National) to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately processing monthly payroll, managing compensation and benefits updates, and supporting both the HR and Finance departments with payroll‑related activities. The ideal candidate will maintain strict confidentiality, ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, and deliver high-quality support to employees and internal stakeholders.

This position is open to Emirati nationals only (with a valid Family Book).


Key Objectives

Payroll Processing (HR & Finance focused)

  • Prepare and process monthly payrolls for all employees, including calculation of earnings, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.
  • Ensure payroll transactions are in line with company policy, employee contracts, and Labour Law.
  • Coordinate with HR for inputs such as new joiners, resignations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
  • Validate payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Process final settlements for resigning employees, including gratuity, unused leave, and other entitlements.

Employee Compensation & Benefits Support (HR-focused)

  • Upload employee details onto the DAX portal within one week of joining the company, ensuring that correct salary band is allocated to each employee.
  • Update the DAX portal with any changes, updates or additions in salaries for employees when needed.
  • Manage and track staff loans and salary advances, including approvals, repayment schedules, and payroll deductions.
  • Support HR in implementing changes in salary structures, allowances, and benefits.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records including bank details, dependents (if applicable), and insurance deductions.
  • Liaise with HR to ensure accurate input of absences and disciplinary deductions.
  • Generate reports and data required for annual salary reviews or budgeting.

Finance Support

  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts with the Finance team and ensure timely submission of payroll entries into the accounting system.
  • Prepare payroll reports for Finance and HR as required for audits, budgeting, and financial planning.
  • Ensure timely remittance of statutory payments (e.g., GPSSA, WPS, etc., if applicable) and compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Support Finance in year-end audits related to payroll.

Communication & Confidentiality

  • Respond to employee queries related to salary, payslips, deductions, and other payroll-related concerns.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy in handling employee financial data.
  • Coordinate closely with both HR and Finance teams to maintain data consistency and timely information sharing.

Other Duties

  • Continuously review payroll processes for improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Participate in implementation or upgrades of payroll software/systems.
  • Provide support for HR/Finance projects involving employee compensation or data migration.
