Inserter II

Inserter position works in a newspaper manufacturing environment. The position supports the start to finish process or processes for inserting Advertising inserts into a variety of newspaper publications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Insert level 1 duties completed successfully
• Jog and feed multiple inserts and place into hoppers properly
• Make repairs when the hopper stops for a miss and double
• Fix strap machines and reload the strap
• Operate pallet jacks
• Shrink wrap the pallets
• Stage the pallets/cages in the proper area
• Move pallets/cages in and out during zones beginning until the end at stacker

Physical Requirement:

Must be able to endure the rigors of a production environment. Lifting, carrying, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping and seeing operational environment activities.
