We are seeking a Regulatory, and Compliance Manager to lead and ensure all quality standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance protocols are met across our product range. This role requires a deep understanding of ingredients, health benefits, and food safety regulations, along with a proactive approach to quality assurance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Quality Assurance & Control:
- Develop, implement, and oversee quality control systems to ensure products meet established standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct routine product audits, ingredient inspections, and testing to verify compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to applicable food safety regulations, Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) standards, and other regulatory requirements in product formulation and labeling.
- Monitor changes in regulatory standards and apply updates as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Ingredient Knowledge & Health Focus:
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of ingredients, their health benefits, and nutritional values to support regulatory accuracy and product integrity.
- Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Continuously assess and improve quality processes to optimize product safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Encourage innovative approaches to quality assurance and proactively identify and resolve potential compliance issues.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's or master's degree in food science, nutrition, regulatory affairs or a related field.
- 3+ years in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or food safety within the food industry
- Proven track record of successful quality control and regulatory compliance, preferably within health-oriented or functional food products.
- Comprehensive understanding of ingredients, their benefits, and relevant health implications.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, RDA applicability, and food safety compliance.
- Passion for food, health, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Willingness to challenge conventional practices and apply new methods for enhanced quality and compliance.
- Go-getter who approaches challenges with a solution-focused mindset.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach, capable of independently managing tasks and projects.
- Highly disciplined and detail-oriented, ensuring adherence to quality and compliance protocols.
