Network Systems Engineer

JOB BRIEF

We are seeking a Network Systems Engineer to take care of the network software and hardware upgrades and work in collaboration with the other network staff to resolve any information security issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Systems testing functions within a systems development department or project. Allocates systems testers to pieces of work, taking account of individuals' abilities and the requirements of the work.
• Assist customers to clarify their needs and requirements for new and enhanced systems, products/ services, devise effective solutions to these needs, giving due consideration to any safety-related aspects which may apply.
• Consults with IS specialists in areas of software engineering, data management, communications, and service delivery and takes account of their recommendations.
• Investigate the change management database to produce reports for bodies that review changes, such as change advisory boards (CABs)
• Provide expert technical knowledge in the configuration of software/equipment for the systems testing of platform-specific versions of one or more software products.

REQUIREMENTS

• University Graduate- B.sc in Technology or related discipline
• Postgraduate degree / professional certifications are an added advantage.
• Proficient in Managing Change, Capacity, and Hardware/Software Installation
• Hands-on experience in Network Administration And Support/ User support
• Expert in Providing VPN Support and Conducting relevant technical research

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

• Practical Hands-on ACI Network implementation
• First-hand Knowledge Of TCP/IP and MPLS VPNs
• Proficient use of routing Protocols Like BGP And OSPF
• Cisco IOS Commands and Functions
