Head of Business Development

JOB BRIEF

We are seeking a Head of Business Development to engage in a broad range of activities including supporting the investment process (market research, analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, etc.), supporting the company's portfolio companies, and generally pushing the firms' mission within the blockchain and real estate investments ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the day-to-day active management of the assigned Portfolios.
• Conduct market and sub-market analysis on rents, demographics, supply & demand, sales comparables, and lease comparables to create informed data-driven strategies, programs, and methods to maximize the financial and operational return on assigned portfolios.
• Onboarding new issuers to the company-supported Digital Exchange.
• Sourcing - proactively identifying new investment opportunities and qualifying inbound leads for the firm by meeting with prospective clients.
• Deal Diligence - helping the company evaluate new investment opportunities through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer/user reviews, and technical diligence.
• Portfolio Work - collaborating with the team to support the company portfolio.
• Ecosystem building - being an active contributor to the blockchain/cryptocurrencies community by organizing activities, participating in local events, and looking for ways to help make the firm a household name.
• Assist in the development and execution of the annual Capital Plan & budget for each asset in the Real Estate Portfolio with the aim to increase portfolio value

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years post NYSC relevant work experience in the Finance Industry with a strong understanding of Crypto and Alternative Assets
• Extensive knowledge of the capital market/instruments/regulation, economic theories, and relationships as well as valuation tools
• Experience managing brokers, conducting due diligence, and carrying out detailed financial analysis for purposes of evaluating and completing a wide range of blockchain and real estate transactions.
• Current knowledge of industry trends.
• Strong organization and time management skills
