JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead technology strategy, digital transformation and technology operations within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in capital markets or investment banking, with expertise in AI, cybersecurity and technology-driven transformation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the organisation's technology strategy and roadmap.
- Lead digital transformation projects and technology-driven innovation.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, systems integration and technology operations.
- Drive the adoption of AI, automation, cloud and emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain robust cybersecurity and technology risk frameworks.
- Ensure technology platforms are secure, scalable, reliable and compliant.
- Lead end-to-end technology projects from planning to implementation.
- Manage technology budgets, vendors and strategic technology partnerships.
- Build and lead high-performing technology teams.
- Partner with senior management to align technology with business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
- 10+ years of progressive technology experience, with significant leadership experience.
- Strong experience in capital markets, investment banking, banking, fintech or financial services.
- Proven experience delivering digital transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of AI, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, systems integration and enterprise architecture.
- Experience managing technology teams, budgets and large-scale projects.
- Understanding of technology governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP or ITIL are an advantage.
