ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Market Research Analyst to support an advanced AI training and evaluation project. The role involves applying practical expertise in market research, survey design, quantitative and qualitative analysis, consumer insights, and marketing analytics to develop and evaluate realistic business scenarios.
The successful candidate will help ensure that AI-generated outputs are analytically sound, methodologically appropriate, practical, and aligned with recognised market research standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Research Scenario Development
- Develop realistic market research and business scenarios for AI training and evaluation.
- Create tasks involving research design, survey development, data analysis, and insight generation.
- Develop accurate reference solutions and structured evaluation criteria.
- Ensure scenarios reflect practical market research challenges and real-world business needs.
- Develop and evaluate research methodologies for different business and market research objectives.
- Assess the suitability of quantitative and qualitative research approaches.
- Review research objectives, target audiences, sampling considerations, and data collection methods.
- Identify methodological strengths, weaknesses, and potential limitations.
- Create and assess survey instruments and research questionnaires.
- Evaluate question design, structure, relevance, and potential sources of bias.
- Develop scenarios involving appropriate data collection and research methods.
- Ensure research tasks are technically sound and practically realistic.
- Develop and evaluate tasks involving quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and research findings.
- Assess the interpretation of datasets and research results.
- Translate research findings into clear and actionable consumer or market insights.
- Review AI-generated and expert-produced research outputs for accuracy and quality.
- Apply established evaluation rubrics and grading frameworks.
- Identify analytical errors, methodological weaknesses, gaps, and unsupported conclusions.
- Verify that tasks, datasets, and expected solutions are accurate, realistic, and solvable using standard research tools.
- Incorporate feedback from senior reviewers to refine assigned tasks and outputs.
- Participate in calibration and revision cycles to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Ensure deliverables align with project guidelines, milestones, and quality benchmarks.
- Escalate complex or unclear research and evaluation issues through the appropriate review process.
- Approximately 3+ years of hands-on experience in Market Research, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Insights, or a related field.

- Experience producing professional deliverables such as research plans, survey instruments, data analysis reports, market research reports, or consumer insight presentations.

- Ability to assess research methodologies and identify strengths, weaknesses, and limitations.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and incorporate feedback.
- Must be located in an approved U.S. state.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Market Research, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role.
- Experience creating research assessments, business scenarios, evaluation frameworks, or structured rubrics.
