Role Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple business units and operational locations.
The successful candidate will oversee warehousing, inventory management, distribution, fulfilment, logistics coordination, third-party logistics (3PL) relationships, and supply chain systems. The role will be responsible for improving operational visibility, inventory accuracy, service levels, cost efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
The ideal candidate should be highly hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable managing complex supply chain environments involving multiple products, locations, channels, and stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities covering sourcing, warehousing, inventory movement, distribution, fulfilment, and delivery.
  • Monitor supply chain performance from origin through transit to final delivery, ensuring plans are executed effectively.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, delays, shortages, and service gaps and drive timely resolution.
  • Establish effective reporting and performance-monitoring processes across supply chain operations.
Warehousing, Inventory & Distribution
  • Lead warehouse operations and third-party logistics providers to ensure agreed service levels are consistently achieved.
  • Drive high levels of inventory accuracy, stock visibility, order fulfilment, and warehouse efficiency.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound logistics, goods receipt, order processing, dispatch, and last-mile delivery.
  • Develop appropriate storage, handling, and fulfilment processes for different product categories, including temperature-sensitive products where applicable.
Systems, Data & Supply Chain Analytics
  • Support the implementation and effective use of ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS, and other supply chain technology platforms.
  • Improve visibilityacross inventory, orders, shipments, warehouse activity, and fulfilment performance.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators covering inventory, logistics, fulfilment, service levels, and operating costs.
Vendor & Logistics Management
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers, warehouse operators, suppliers, and other supply chain partners.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs, costs, quality standards, and delivery expectations.
  • Support commercial negotiations and performance improvement initiatives with strategic supply chain partners.
Transformation & Cost Optimization
  • Lead supply chain improvement initiatives, including warehouse optimization, 3PL transitions, process redesign, and technology implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce warehousing, fulfilment, transportation, and distribution costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business, procurement, finance, technology, retail, and operations teams to achieve supply chain objectives.
Leadership & Reporting
  • Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team across warehouse, inventory, and distribution functions.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and promote a strong culture of accountability and execution.
  • Prepare regular supply chain performance reports and provide management with actionable operational insights.
  • Maintain strong on-ground oversight across key operational and warehouse locations.

Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • Professional certification such as Six Sigma Black Belt or relevant supply chain certification is desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in supply chain management and operations.
  • Strong experience across warehousing, distribution, inventory management, logistics, and 3PL management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-location, multi-category, or complex supply chain operations.
