Job Title: Senior AI Trainer – Actuaries (APAC/MEA, Europe & North America)

Eligible Regions: Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Vietnam, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey (with opportunities supporting global teams across APAC/MEA, Europe, and North America)

Employment Type: Short-Term Contract (9 Weeks)

Work Schedule: Minimum of 4 hours per day (up to 40 hours per week) with at least 4 hours overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Compensation: 40/hr USD

Role Overview
Our client is seeking accomplished Actuarial Professionals to join its AI Training team as Senior AI Trainers. In this role, you will leverage your actuarial expertise to create, evaluate, and refine sophisticated actuarial scenarios that enhance the reasoning capabilities of advanced Artificial Intelligence systems.
You will develop high-quality actuarial tasks involving pricing, reserving, forecasting, financial modeling, profitability analysis, and risk assessment while reviewing team outputs to ensure technical excellence and consistency. Your professional judgment and actuarial expertise will play a vital role in helping AI models produce reliable, practical, and industry-aligned solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced AI Training & Content Development

  • Develop complex actuarial scenarios covering pricing, reserving, forecasting, profitability analysis, and enterprise risk management.
  • Produce expert-level actuarial solutions supported by sound methodologies, validated assumptions, and professional standards.
  • Design realistic tasks reflecting challenges encountered across insurance, pensions, consulting, and financial services.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet rigorous technical and quality standards.

Quality Assurance & Technical Review

  • Review and calibrate work completed by AI Trainers to ensure consistency and actuarial accuracy.
  • Validate actuarial assumptions, pricing methodologies, reserve calculations, forecasting models, and analytical conclusions.
  • Identify technical inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve AI-generated outputs.
  • Maintain gold-standard quality across all assigned deliverables.

Actuarial Analysis & Professional Oversight
Apply advanced actuarial expertise across:

  • Evaluate actuarial models against accepted professional and regulatory standards.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) Leads and senior reviewers.
  • Escalate complex technical issues, ambiguous scenarios, and edge cases where appropriate.
  • Apply calibration feedback to improve quality and consistency.
  • Support the continuous improvement of AI performance through expert actuarial guidance.


Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

Professional Experience8–15 years of actuarial experience across one or more of the following:

  • Life Insurance
  • Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Health Insurance
  • Pension Schemes
  • Actuarial Consulting
  • Financial Services
  • Demonstrated experience leading actuarial analyses, pricing exercises, reserving activities, or enterprise risk initiatives.


Professional Qualifications

A recognized actuarial credential such as:

  • SOA – Associate or Fellow (ASA/FSA)
  • CAS – Associate or Fellow (ACAS/FCAS)
  • IFoA Fellowship
  • Equivalent regional actuarial qualification
