Role Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient SAP Production Transactions Officer to manage and execute SAP transactions supporting daily production operations.
The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate system records for production orders, material consumption, goods movements, inventory, production confirmations, and output quantities. The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure production activities are accurately captured in SAP and that system data supports effective operational decision-making.



Key Responsibilities

SAP Production Transactions

• Execute daily SAP transactions including Goods Issue (GI), Goods Receipt (GR), production confirmations, transfer postings, and stock adjustments.
• Create, release, monitor, and close production/process orders in SAP.
• Perform backflushing of raw materials and packaging materials where applicable.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of material consumption and production output.

• Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure production activities are correctly reflected in SAP.
• Monitor production progress and update system transactions in line with actual production activities.
• Ensure all required SAP transactions are completed accurately before shift closure.
• Support production teams in resolving transaction-related issues affecting operational continuity.

• Monitor material consumption against Bill of Materials (BOM) and investigate variances.
• Reconcile material usage, production output, and system balances.
• Process and monitor stock movements, including transfers, returns, adjustments, and other inventory transactions.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate unresolved material or system issues.

• Maintain high levels of accuracy and data integrity across SAP production transactions.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory reports from SAP.
• Maintain proper transaction records and supporting documentation.
• Provide accurate SAP information to support internal and external audits.

• Identify and escalate SAP errors affecting production, inventory, or material movements.
• Support troubleshooting of failed postings, incorrect transactions, and master-data-related issues.
• Liaise with SAP support teams or relevant system users to resolve transaction issues.

Requirements
Education

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years' experience in manufacturing, production, inventory, supply chain, or related operations.
• Hands-on experience using SAP, preferably within SAP PP/MM modules.
• Practical experience processing SAP production and inventory transactions.
• Experience working with Production, Warehouse, Quality, or Supply Chain teams is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM), material consumption, inventory movements, and production processes.
