Job Title: Content & Social Media Lead

Location: New York City (On-site)

Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000 base + 0.1% – 0.2% equity (DOE)

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-agency Content & Social Media Lead to own and scale the voice, content, and distribution strategy across broader digital channels. You will transform raw company and community inputs into high-impact content that drives awareness, engagement, and inbound interest.

What You'll Do

  • Turn internal stories (founder wins, cohort stories, data, community moments, memes) into posts, threads, clips, and short-form content
  • Manage content pipeline for flagship programs (topics creation,  promotion clipping,  distribution)
  • Write and refine high-impact copy across website, emails, lifecycle comms, and announcements
  • Build and maintain a structured content system (calendar, pillars, repurposing workflow, weekly reviews)
  • Run experiments, track performance, and iterate based on engagement and conversion metrics

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Consistent weekly publishing cadence across social media
  • Clear, repeatable content pillars and formats established
  • Increased inbound signals (DMs, email signups, applications, referrals via social)
  • Improved clarity and conversion of core website and email copy
  • Fully functioning content pipeline with minimal dependency on founders/partners

Requirements

  • Crypto-native with strong understanding of web3 culture and tone
  • Excellent writing skills with strong taste and clarity
  • Ability to grow beyond crypto-native audiences
  • High-agency operator: proactive, independent, execution-focused
  • Strong content judgment (knows what works, what's cringe, what's risky)
  • Comfortable using modern AI tools for content production (without sounding artificial)

Nice to Have

  • Portfolio of 5–10 strong writing samples (threads, posts, essays, landing pages, newsletters)
  • Proven ability to grow audience or distribution channels
  • Experience with conversion copywriting (landing pages, email funnels, A/B testing)
  • Built or managed a content system (calendar, pillars, repurposing, analytics)
  • Experience in crypto protocols, funds, or fast-growing startups
