Location: Hennigsdorf, Germany (On-site; travel across Berlin)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: €37,000 – €42,000 gross/year (negotiable)

Role Summary

We are hiring a Service Manager to lead operations within clean-room and building cleaning services. This role combines team leadership, operational planning, quality control, and client management.

You will oversee daily service delivery, manage field teams, and ensure high standards across multiple client sites.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Resource Planning

  • Plan staffing, shifts, and cleaning schedules for projects
  • Support feasibility checks and input for quotations and cost planning

Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of ~30 cleaners plus support staff
  • Onboard new employees and coordinate ongoing training and quality management sessions

Quality & Client Management

  • Conduct on-site inspections and ensure service quality
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints effectively

Logistics & Execution

  • Ensure availability and delivery of cleaning materials and equipment
  • Oversee accurate time tracking and workforce coordination
  • Adapt plans quickly to operational changes

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational training in building cleaning or technical trade
  • 3–5 years of experience in the cleaning industry
  • Initial leadership experience (team coordination or supervision)
  • German language proficiency (C1)
  • Valid Class B driving licence
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Ability to work in full protective (clean-room) gear

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of GMP / ISO clean-room standards
  • Experience with documentation and occupational safety
  • Familiarity with tools such as Outlook, WhatsApp, CRM systems
  • Basic English skills (B2)
  • Strong team leadership and motivation skills
