Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Munich. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen and is ideal for someone eager to build long-term client relationships while contributing to business growth in high-tech sectors such as defense, aerospace, and civil applications.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Germany and selected international markets

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders

  • Actively manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure

Sales & Marketing Collaboration

  • Support sales strategies in line with the Sales Managers direction

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and industry events

  • Contribute to marketing and promotional materials with technical insights

Technical Consultancy

  • Serve as a technical advisor to customers, understanding their needs and recommending suitable solutions

  • Clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Maintain strong knowledge of electronic components and systems

Customer Relationship Management

  • Manage existing client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation

  • Maintain disciplined and consistent use of CRM systems and sales follow-ups

Product Presentations

  • Support and eventually lead technical presentations and product demonstrations

  • Learn and deliver structured sales pitches with confidence

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies

  • Report insights related to GNSS, RF, and Radio Navigation technologies

Requirements

  • Work Authorization: Must hold German citizenship

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience: Experience or strong interest in technical sales, account management, or sales engineering (defense or aerospace is a plus)

  • Technical Skills: Strong technical understanding of electronic systems and components

  • Languages:

    • Fluent German (spoken and written) 

    • Fluent English (spoken and written)

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally abroad

  • Personal Attributes:

    • Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Systems & Data: Experience with CRM, ERP, and business reporting tools; comfortable preparing reports and client quotations
